A 40th birthday party at Wagtail Rooftop Bar — part of the ETM venue group, known for its décor and its views over London by day and night — where the venue's own sound system meant the DJ travelled light.
Our Approach
With a Pioneer DDJ-XZ already standard kit at the venue, the DJ worked from laptop alone, running the birthday guest's own playlist: R&B, hip hop and UK garage through the first part of the night, opening out into classic hits as the evening went on.
The Result
A full rooftop birthday night run entirely on the venue's own system — proof that the right DJ doesn't always need to bring a truck of equipment to deliver the right night.
