About the event:

The HP corporate event was a two-day conference that showcased new technology. It provided a chance for UK and international companies to connect, discuss the products, and pitch sales.

Approximately 300 guests attended, moving between different rooms. At the end of the meetings, they gathered in a communal area for finger food and refreshments while our DJ played soft background music. 

The communal room featured interactive team-building games and comfortable sofas. Organizers made speeches between sets, aiming for familiar mid-tempo 80s music to current tracks and groovy house tunes, keeping the vibe relaxed and not requiring guests to dance, as the DJ set ran from 5 to 7 pm.

The DJ arrived 90 minutes early with on-site parking to set up in the spacious Tobacco Dock venue. The in-house AV team laid two XLR cables for the DJ mixer. The DJ brought two Technics turntables and a Pioneer Mixer, using Serato DJ software.

The client requested that the DJ set up in the center of the stage without any branding on the laptop, as the event was strictly for HP corporate logos.
