A Great Gatsby-themed private party at The Cloisters in Letchworth, with a live band sharing the bill alongside the DJ. Planning started with an online room check, using the venue's dimensions to work out how many uplighters were needed and at what brightness.
Our Approach
On the night, the Great Gatsby backdrop was already in place for the band and DJ. Wireless uplighters were rigged and colour-tested first, then switched off to save battery until twenty minutes before guests arrived, with speakers positioned behind the band for balanced coverage of the room.
The Result
Two moving-head wash lights and a six-channel mixer rounded out a set-up built to run smoothly alongside a live band — lighting and sound sorted so the party's 1920s theme came through all night.
