About
The gig was booked through event management GEMS for their client, an African Investment Bank, who wanted an African Christmas Party DJ Set.
The DJ setup was kept simple as Tredwells' downstairs restaurant is a small venue.
Setup started at 4 pm since guests were expected at 6 pm. The venue is in Covent Garden, but parking was tough. Because of this, the hired DJ took a taxi to move their gear.
By 6 pm, the setup was done, and guests arrived; the client liked the background music during dinner. The DJ was set to start at 9:30 pm due to delays.
The DJ opened with smooth classic disco as tables were cleared for dancing, then switched to 80s commercial hits mixed with Afrobeats.
Pack down was at 12:30 am. Tredwell's is now permanently closed, but we keep this page active as an example of an event with us.
Although our company name may state London. We are not only confined to only London events, our team members travel to all areas of the UK. We work independently for clients and also alongside any other event organisers and DMC (destination management companies).
If you are an event organiser and have your clients, we are happy to work as an “independent brand free” company to which your brand services remain with your clients.
Warning may contain dancing....
