Corporate Karaoke at Star by Liverpool Street

The Event

From 2023 to 2026, Party Night London hosted corporate karaoke nights at Star by Liverpool Street twice a month on Thursday evenings — running the open mic room on the venue's own karaoke setup, with our professional host and full song library keeping the night moving for after-work parties, team socials and client entertaining for companies based around the City and Liverpool Street. One stand-out night: a summer event in July 2025 for Transperfect London, with 100 guests downstairs.

Star by Liverpool Street was a popular City of London venue for corporate parties, with full TV karaoke sound systems and microphones fitted throughout their event rooms — several small booking rooms plus three larger event spaces, well suited to corporate karaoke. Because the venue had its own equipment in place, we didn't need to bring any karaoke gear of our own, only the host.

A typical night meant a professional host running the room on Star's existing PA, screens and karaoke decks — our own song library, directing the crowd who came out, and keeping the open mic queue moving. We'd call the first singer up, then invite everyone to write their name and song choice on a slip of paper and work through the list in order, keeping the atmosphere lively and the room energised. Corporate karaoke works best with a host doing exactly that — someone taking control of the running order, since not every song choice lands with everyone in the room, and someone keeping the changeovers quick so the night doesn't stall between singers.

We've since moved on from Star by Liverpool Street, but corporate karaoke remains one of our most requested services — whether a venue already has the setup in place, like Star did, or needs us to bring the full PA, screens and DJ console too.
