The fifth Mencap event Party Night London has played — this one a charity auction and fashion show with Givergy, at Goldsmiths' Hall in the City.
Our Approach
Rather than bring a separate PA, a site visit two months out confirmed the venue's own D&B Audiotechnik system could be used, connected via two XLR inputs alongside the in-house microphones — a cost saving passed on to the charity. On the day, two CDJs and a mixer ran a song list built to the designer's own brief: roughly two minutes of music per dress, timed across two rehearsals before doors.
The Result
Catwalk cues landed exactly where the designer wanted them, on a sound system the venue already trusted — the latest in a run of five Mencap bookings.
