The Mencap Committee booked Party Night London for a two-day awareness event at Mansion House, with the DJ needed for a lunchtime charity fashion show on the second day.
Our Approach
Set-up started at 8am for a 9am soundcheck, well ahead of the 1pm doors: two Pioneer CDJ 800s and a mixer, two active PA speakers and two wireless microphones, run through a six-channel mixer for the catwalk cues and background music.
The Result
An early, thorough set-up meant the daytime slot ran to schedule for Mencap's fashion show — sound and timing sorted well before a single guest arrived.
