Not Every Mix Is Meant To Fill A Dancefloor

A good chunk of what we’re booked for isn’t a party at all — it’s a seated dinner, a drinks reception, a cocktail hour. Those need music that holds a room together at conversation volume without ever demanding attention. We record mixes specifically for it, marked NS: no samples, no scratching. It’s a different skill from working a floor, and it’s the thing corporate and wedding clients ask us about most.
